Notice of the Annual General Meeting
The Maryborough Services and Citizens’ Memorial Club Ltd
Dear members,
This notice is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Maryborough Services and Citizens’ Memorial Club Ltd.
When: 10:00am, 23rd November 2025
Chair: Mr Stewart Norton
Where: Maryborough Services Club – 163-175 Lennox Street, Maryborough QLD 4650
At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
- find out about the Club’s financial position.
- ask questions about the operations of the Club.
- speak to items on the agenda
- vote on any resolutions proposed.
At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:
- accept the annual reports
- accept the auditor’s report and financial statement
- appoint an auditor
- elect new Board members
- notice of motion – Chairman honorarium
The Financial Report is available from the Club Manager.
An election will be held for the following Board positions:
- Two Ordinary Member, and
- One Service member
Note 1: For members who wish to nominate for Board positions, the Nomination Form, Board Skills Matrix and Members Statement documents are on the Club website and are also available from the Club General Manager. Nominations close at 5.00pm 24th October 2025.
Note 2: Members who may have questions in relation to any report are requested to submit their question, in writing, to the General Manager by 12pm 14th November 2025. This will allow sufficient time for an informed response. If questions are not submitted in this manner the Club may not be able to provide a complete answer on the day.
